Job Description

We’re looking for a dedicated Facilities Manager to join our Auckland head office team, 28-32 hours per week negotiable.  You will manage our Facilities Assistant and support the day-to-day activities in our Auckland head office. From organisation of cleaning and maintenance, to ordering supplies and arranging internal events you will thrive on variety and making a difference to those around you. Reporting to our NZ HR Manager you will be at the heart of the business and involved in many exciting initiatives.

In the role you will be responsible for delivering high-quality facilities management and for the ongoing coordination of maintenance, repairs and overall organisation of all office-based activities.

As a key member of the JDE Peet’s team you will be the site contact for all contractors and Health & Safety practices across our site. You will work closely with our local vendors and liaise across all departments to drive efficiencies while building great relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • Experience working as a Facilities or Office Manager
  • Experience managing multiple vendors and contractors
  • Flexible and mature approach to dealing with issues outside of the norm
  • A proactive approach to process improvement
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • An intermediate user of SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Valid unrestricted work visa
